Mahallon names in an Antrim pardon
A pardon dated 16 February 1592 names seventeen men recorded as Mahallon or M’Mahallon, alongside O’Neills, M’Gillconells, O’Haghens and others. It also names Donogh O Mollan and Tirlagh O Mallane. The document gives us a group of people in a shared record; it does not identify them as keepers of the bell.
Names recorded in the pardon

The forms m’Frior and m’Prior invite questions about a possible connection with a prior, but that reading and any identification of their families remain open.
